Nocturne of the Seraphim

Created for the SRPG Studio Anniversary Game Jam. (Be sure to read through the entire Author's Notes before you begin.) It is a piece of history within the world of Consus, and within the six kingdoms of Zerachiel. Once the contest is over, there will be an update to the files brushing things up here and there. Because this is only a part of a much bigger game, when that game is available to the public this one will be archived and no longer available for download.

Once the program is downloaded, extract the content into a New Folder and open "game.exe" to start playing!

The real game has been deep in development at the time this game was submitted to the game jam.  It is only 1 chapter long but it chronicles the struggle of the Eastern Kingdom of Hiram's King to drive back the Nocturna's years-long revenge plot after they failed to acquire the blood of his progeny. (That means his child.)

Here we are, well-into the story of Zephyr Wyrmsbane, charged with the acquisition of a parcel whose content is unknown. At that moment in time, he has returned to the place that he once called home with blind rage clouding his judgement. Though he has already bested his former masters in combat they will never die, and after what seems like years they recount the days leading to his betrayal against the Nocturne of the Seraphim.
